First Call for Papers -- The Fourth International Workshop on Pulmonary
Image Analysis held in conjunction with MICCAI 2011, September 18, 2011,
Toronto, Canada
Scope and Objectives:
---------------------
The Workshop on Pulmonary Image Analysis brings together researchers in
pulmonary image analysis to discuss recent advances in this rapidly
developing field. Many imaging modalities are currently available to
study the lungs, including radiography, CT, PET and PET/CT, MRI and
more. We invite papers that deal with all aspects of image analysis of
pulmonary image data, including but not limited to:
* Segmentation
* Registration
* Quantification
* Computer-Aided Detection and Diagnosis of Lung Disease
* Modeling of the Image Acquisition Process
* Visualization
* Statistical Modeling
* Biophysical Modeling (Computational Anatomy)
* Lung Image Analysis in Animals
* Novel Applications
Live demonstrations of methods/applications are greatly appreciated.
Paper Length:
-------------
* 4 to 6 pages for short papers with live demo or poster presentation
* 8 to 12 pages for long papers with live demo and/or oral/poster
presentation
Important Dates:

* June 29, 2011 Paper submission deadline
* July 15, 2011 Notification of acceptance
* July 27, 2011 Final camera ready papers due
* September 18, 2011 Workshop in Toronto, Canada
